Scouting

Day Visit:

Your scout troop will love climbing at Central Rock! Our professional staff will help the scouts check in, get into their gear, help either teach them to belay or belay them for this two hour event. The scouts must be at least 13 years old to learn to belay.

Cost: $30 per scout with staff belaying, or $35 per scout for climbing pass, gear, and a belay lesson.

Merit Badge:

Bring your scouts in to earn their badge. This class will teach an introduction to many different aspects of climbing, including knot tying, belaying, rappelling, equipment checks, safety, and more. This event will take at least 3-4 hours for one group. Participants must be at least 14 years old. Please call two weeks in advance for reservations. Minimum of 5 participants. $50/scout

Lock-In:

Bring your scouts in to earn their badge, or just for an evening of fun climbing. This event will start around 8pm. Scouts will have the opportunity to learn a variety of skills in the evening, and after business hours. Our professional staff will make sure you are totally satisfied with your climbing experience. Each lock-in may be tailored to the clients needs. Please call for details. Plenty of many multi use spaces for eating, classes, meetings or movies are available.
