Job Description General Staff:

The responsibilities of the general staff will vary but include:

• Working the front desk and checking people in. Customer Service.
• Maintaining a safe climbing environment in the Gym.
• Giving introductory belay classes and tests.
• Setting and Stripping climbing routes.
• Creating a great experience for all climbers within the gym. Positive attitude!!!
• Maintaining a clean environment in the locker rooms, and climbing areas.
• Report to the General Manager any problems or questions.
• Help belay for birthday parties and events if necessary.
• For some general staff: teaching climbing and lead classes.

Requirements:

• A positive attitude that communicates the excitement of the climbing gym experience.
• Responsible and on-time.
• Good communication skills.
• Prior climbing experience preferred.
• Part time (roughly 20 hours per week).
• First aid certification a plus.
